History of the lab
The Laboratory was initiated in 1990 and in the ensuing years has published over 125 articles, abstracts, and book chapters, and has made over 200 professional presentations. Current grant funding for the laboratory includes: multi-year grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH: R01, STTR and T32); multi year grants from National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR: Advanced Multidisciplinary Training Program); grants from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (Pilot Grant and multi-year Research Grant); and funding from the Henry H. Kessler Foundation. The laboratory conducts collaborative research with over 25 other individuals locally, nationally, and internationally.

Mission Statement
The mission of the KMRREC Neuropsychology and Neuroscience Laboratory is to provide training and conduct basic and applied research in human cognition -- including its underlying neuroanatomic and neurophysiological foundations -- and its rehabilitation in clinical populations. Research in the laboratory examines neuropsychological deficits associated with a variety of clinical populations, including individuals who have experienced aneurysms of the anterior communicating artery (ACoA), stroke, multiple sclerosis (MS), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
